I'm envious, I want art lessons... :(

Love your art, and the story is good so far! Faving! Now I'm gonna go look at your main comic. xD

EDIT: By the way, when I try to fave it, it faves a different comic instead...you may want to go into the template and fix that, because otherwise people might not see that you've updated. ^^

Reply meago, December 11th, 2009, 2:13 pm

to lilkraftykat: where i should fix it? O:
sorry i'm a noob in SJ XD

Reply lilkraftykat, December 11th, 2009, 2:22 pm

Well, remember where you picked the template to use? It's somewhere around there. I don't know exactly, because I'm also a noob in SJ. xD

...get off your backside...

But it's still not really understandable. Can you please describe, what you wanted to write? Maybe something like "get off from your ivory tower"? Is she lazy, or feels like a princess?

Reply meago, December 11th, 2009, 4:25 pm

she's lazy

Reply Noru, December 11th, 2009, 4:40 pm

hmmm... a possible simple text:
"put up with it and start working, if you don't want to get a negative mark".

Maybe she's getting annoyed, and the teacher notices, then the following could be better:
"stop sulking and start working, if..."
or
"get off your high horse, if..."

I understood it just fine. I think "get off your backside" is a good way to say it. That's always how I've heard it said, anyway.

I think "get off your backside" is fine. I know that the more slang thing to say would be "get off your a$$ and get to work" but i would expect that a teacher wouldn't say that, since she seems to be more formal.

"Get of your butt" would be how my mom would say that to one of her students. ^-^ My mom's an English teacher, by the way.

The slang saying Should it be "Get off your backside" or "Get off your's backside"? Right now it says the second phrase....

LOVE UR COMIC!!! I love your artwork in this comic book! one thing though... you might want to consider changing "get off your's backside" to "get off your backside" :) still love your comic though

Reply xav (Guest), April 19th, 2010, 5:27 pm

awesome Love this so far. but to add to the discussion: get off your backside has always seemed to me something you would say when the person is sitting, not already standing...
